End Poverty

SEEWA is actively working to eradicate poverty and uplift marginalized communities. Key initiatives include:

  1. Eradicating Extreme Poverty: SEEWA launched programs that provide essential resources such as food, shelter, and healthcare to the most vulnerable populations.
  2. Reducing Poverty by 50%: Through targeted interventions in education, employment training, and entrepreneurship, we seek to halve poverty rates for men, women, and children across multiple dimensions by empowering communities.
  3. Social Protection Measures: We advocate for the implementation of comprehensive social protection systems, ensuring greater inclusion of poor and vulnerable groups in national policies.
  4. Equal Access to Resources: We work to ensure that impoverished individuals have access to economic opportunities, including land rights, financial services, and new technologies, promoting economic independence.
  5. Building Resilience: In response to climate change and disasters, we support initiatives that strengthen the resilience of poor communities through sustainable development practices.
  6. Pro-Poor Policy Frameworks: We collaborate with governments to design and implement policies that are inclusive and gender-sensitive, fostering long-term solutions for poverty eradication.

End Hunger

SEEWA plays a critical role in addressing hunger, malnutrition, and agricultural sustainability.

  1. Eliminate Hunger: We work to ensure access to safe and nutritious food, especially for vulnerable populations, including infants, disadvantaged groups, and those in crisis, through community food banks and nutritional outreach programs.
  2. Eradicate Malnutrition: We implement health camps targeting children under five, pregnant women, and elderly individuals. Nutritional supplements and education initiatives form a vital part of our mission to reduce stunting and wasting.
  3. Enhance Agricultural Productivity: Through training programs for women, indigenous people, and small-scale farmers, we empower communities with knowledge and tools to increase productivity. We advocate for equitable access to land, financial services, and markets.
  4. Promote Sustainable Practices: We help farmers adapt to climate change and improve soil quality. This enhances food security and resilience in the face of environmental challenges.

Good Health & Well-being

SEEWA is dedicated to improving global health is taking strategic actions as below:

  1.  To lower maternal mortality, we offer pre-natal care, skilled birth assistance, and post-natal support. By targeting preventable deaths among newborns and children under five, we implement vaccination programs, educate mothers, and improve access to pediatric healthcare, aiming to reduce neonatal mortality.
  2. We are committed to reducing premature deaths from non-communicable diseases by promoting prevention and early detection, alongside mental health support services.
  3. Substance abuse prevention, including tackling the misuse of narcotic drugs and alcohol, is prioritized through rehabilitation centers and public health campaigns.
  4. To ensure universal access to sexual and reproductive health services, we provide family planning education and integrate reproductive health into community programs. T
  5. Our work also focuses on achieving universal health coverage, ensuring financial risk protection, and access to affordable, quality healthcare, medicines, and vaccines.
  6. Through collaborations, we strengthen healthcare financing and invest in training and retaining skilled health workers.

Quality Education

SEEWA is committed to advancing UN SDG goals by focusing on equitable access to quality education for all by following initiatives:

  1. Through our initiatives, we ensure that every girl and boy completes free and high-quality primary and secondary education, achieving effective learning outcomes.
  2. Early childhood development is prioritized, providing inclusive pre-primary education to prepare children for future academic success.
  3. We also promote equal access to affordable technical, vocational, and tertiary education for women and men, empowering them with relevant skills to secure decent jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities.
  4. Special attention is given to vulnerable people, eliminating gender disparities and supporting individuals with disabilities, indigenous communities, and children in difficult situations.
  5. Additionally, literacy and numeracy programs target both youth and adults, fostering lifelong learning.
